Johannes Wedel, United States

Assistant Professor
Transplant Research Program
Boston Children's Hospital

Dr. Wedel is an Assistant Professor at the Harvard Medical School, Faculty at the Transplant Research Program, Division of Nephrology, and Affiliate Faculty at the Computational Health Informatics Program at the Boston Children's Hospital. His research focuses on the identification of novel cell types and signaling pathways that regulate T cell-dependent immune responses of broad clinical relevance. His laboratory uses cutting-edge multi-omic screening platforms to identify new molecular mechanisms and pharmacological targets that can be used to modulate alloimmunity, resolve inflammation and/or promote operational tolerance following transplantation.
